Flux Gallery
Several of us Tucson artists have responded to the current economy by banding together and starting a gallery of our own. We call the gallery Flux, to emphasize its changeable, fluctuating, fluid nature, and we have set up shop in Plaza Palomino, 2960 North Swan Road, at the southeast corner of Swan and Fort Lowell Roads in Tucson. We are in Suite 136, across from Dark Star Leather and beside Abstrax Salon and Day Spa.
We have new hours for the summer. We are open Wednesday–Friday, 11 a.m.–2 p.m., and Saturday, 10 a.m.–1 p.m. (Each Saturday, Plaza Palomino has a farmer’s and art market.) You can also see the gallery by appointment; just call Carol Ann at 299-5983, or contact any artist directly.
We will return to our regular hours in October: Monday–Saturday, 11 a.m.–4 p.m.
Who we are
We’re a diverse and talented group that includes painters, sculptors, photographers, mixed media artists, and a woodturner. To read more about us and see examples of our work, click here.
- Carol Ann: painting (mixed media)
- Lee Roy Beach: painting (abstracts, miniature landscapes)
- Lynne Yamaguchi: sculptural turned wood vessels
- Maurice Sevigny: mixed media works on paper
- Peter Eisner: sculpture
- Shirley Wagner: sculpture (wood assemblage)
We are currently seeking new members. If you are interested in working cooperatively and collaboratively with us and think your artwork is compatible with and distinct from ours, please contact Lee Roy Beach for information about how to apply, and include a link to your web site.
Upcoming events
Please check our blog for the latest on upcoming events at the gallery and other events involving the Flux artists individually.
Guest Artist Program
Flux Gallery occasionally hosts weekend-long exhibitions of the work of guest artists. Artists who are interested in being considered for such an exhibition will find information about the process here. If you have further questions, please contact Maurice Sevigny, Carol Ann, or Shirley Wagner.
